How to Type a Babysitting Ad
Remember the movie "Adventures in Babysitting"? This movie told the fictional story of a teenage babysitter's adventures in downtown Chicago with her suburban babysitting charges -- it glamorized the babysitting profession for many teenagers. While this babysitting adventure is more fiction than fact, create your own adventures in the childcare profession by marketing your skills and experience to families in your area. Create your own flyer through a few easy steps.

1
Type out an attention-worthy title that will draw readers to your ad. In 10 words or less show-off why you will be an ideal babysitter. Incorporate your key qualifications, such as years of experience, with a descriptive word. "Reliable Caregiver with 5 Years of Experience" is one example.
-
2
State your qualifications under your title. Summarize your qualifications in four to six points. List languages you speak, professional qualifications and CPR registration dates, as well as your price.

3
Place your phone number and other contact information beneath your bullet-style list of qualifications. Read your flyer thoroughly and search for errors. Correct any spelling or grammar mistakes and read one last time. When you are satisfied with your ad, print it.
-
4
Distribute your ad to high traffic areas of your community: put up the flyer with push pins or tape. Add business cards to the poster; this ensures your prospective clients can walk away with your phone number. Just add printed slips of paper with your name and number to the flyers if you do not have business cards.
