Follow the instructions carefully to ensure the safety of your child while using the Baby Bjorn carrier.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the straps over your shoulders with the logo on your left side. Adjust the straps so that they cross at the base of your shoulder blades.

    • 2

Slide the adjusting buckle to the right size for your baby. This is based on your baby's length and should be between 23 and 26 inches tall.

    • 3

Snap the buckle clips located at the bottom of the straps into the buckle on the base of the Baby Bjorn carrier. Grasp the latch on one side of the carrier and slide it into the corresponding color groove on the strap. You will hear it click when it is fully attached.

    • 4

Hold your baby facing outward and place his leg into the latched side of the carrier. Attach the other latch into the corresponding color groove until you hear it click.

    • 5

Fold the head support (used for infants and rear-facing carrying) down and attach the buckles to the head support knobs. Your older baby can rest his arms on the head support, but a younger baby should still have his arms through the arm holes.

    • 6

Remove your baby from the Baby Bjorn by holding him close and unbuckling the head support, then unlatching one side of the carrier. Pull your baby carefully through the open side of the carrier.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sit down while placing your baby in the carrier for more stability and less likelihood of injury.

  • Baby must be able to hold his head upright and stable before using the front facing carrier.
