How to Record an MP3 With Flash
Flash files are ones that are in a format like FLV. Flash video plays commonly in your Web browser when you watch videos on sites like YouTube or Hulu. These files play in your browser and aren't easily accessible when you aren't on the Web page they play from. If you want to record the audio part playing with Flash in your Web browser, and save it as an MP3, you can do so using free tools available from the Web.

Download and install MP3 My MP3 Recorder. Select "Stereo Mix" for the input device in the program. Begin playing the Flash video you want. Click "Record" in the Recorder program. Click "Stop" when the video finishes. Click "Copy" to save what you recorded as an MP3.

Navigate to ConvertFiles. Click the circle next to the text "or download it from." Paste the URL address for the Flash video into the textbox next to that text. Select "MP3 (audio only)' under "Output Format." Click "Convert," then click the link text that appears to download the MP3.

Open your browser to the Zamzar site. Select the "Download Video" tab which is the second tab from the left. Paste the website address for the Flash video into the text box there. Select "MP3" under "Convert to." Type in an email address in the "Email" text box. Click "Convert" and an email with the MP3 of the video will be sent to your email address.
