Turning off the ability to delete apps on your iPhone may help you avoid headaches that can occur when your important apps are accidentally deleted. It is all too easy to delete apps with two simple steps. Disabling the ability to delete apps can prevent accidents when you or others are playing with your phone. Turning off the option to delete apps is not permanent and will not impair your phone in any way. You can reactivate the feature at any time from within the iPhone's settings.
Press the "Home" button on the iPhone to view the phone's home screen.
Tap "Settings," then tap "General."
Tap "Restrictions" and enter your four-digit passcode.
Tap the field next to "Deleting Apps" to switch the setting to "Off." Press the "Home" button to exit to the phone's home screen.
