How to Get a List of Installed Apps on My iPhone

If you want to see a list of apps installed on your iPhone, you don't need any fancy software. On your computer, launch iTunes, a program you already use to manage your music, videos, photos and e-books. In iTunes, you can see a list of apps on your phone, a list of apps on your computer but not on your phone, and a display of the apps as they appear on each page of your phone. You can use this list to rearrange, remove or add apps.

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer using the docking cable, just as you would if you were syncing it.

  • Open iTunes and click your iPhone's name under "Devices" in the left panel of iTunes.

  • Click "Apps" above the information about your iPhone in the center screen.

  • Scroll down the list of apps to view the apps installed on your phone. Apps with a check mark are installed; apps without a check mark are on your computer but not on your phone. The photo of your iPhone's home screen displays the apps as they appear on your phone; you can click and drag the apps to rearrange them. Click on subsequent pages to view them as well.
