How to Remove a Footer From AT&T Mail

The footer on your AT&T smartphone is very similar to the signature that you use on your home email. When you send an email through your smartphone, a footer appears at the bottom that reads "Message sent from AT&T phone" or something similar. You don't have to take your phone into an AT&T retail store to get this footer removed. You can delete the message from your AT&T phone by going through the settings menu on your phone.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the "Email" icon on your AT&T phone. This is in the form of an envelope on the main menu.

    • 2

Click on the "Menu" option at the bottom right hand side of the screen when the email window opens.

    • 3

Click on the "Options" tab from the menu that appears on the screen.

    • 4

Click on the "Email" option from the menu that appears.

    • 5

Uncheck the box next to "Append Signature" and then click the "OK" button at the top right hand side of the phone's screen to save the settings.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you remove the footer, you can enable it again with the same steps.
