How to Change a Blogspot Address

Blogspot is the name of blogs on Blogger, Google's online blogging platform, where computer users who have a Google account can make their own blogs. If you are unsatisfied with the current address of your blog, it is changeable. The only rule in changing the blog's address is that it must be unique.

Instructions

1. Type in Blogger's address, blogger.com, into your Internet browser.

2. Type your username and password to sign in.

3. Click on "Settings" under your blog's name.

4. Click "Publishing" at the top of the screen.

5. Click on the white box beside "Blog*Spot Address."

6. Type in the name that you want to rename your blog to. If the name you choose is taken, red text appears telling you to change it.

7. Click on the white box beside "Word Verification." Type in the letters that appear above the box. Click "Save Settings" to save the changes.
