How to Serve Brandied Cherries
Brandied cherries are a mixture of cherries, brandy and sugar. The mixture is usually stored for a month or longer to allow the brandy to soak into the fruit. The sugar mixes with the brandy and the fruit juice to create a pleasant, sweet and alcoholic syrup during this time. Brandied cherries add a flavorful topping to many kinds of desserts.
