How to File for Unemployment Compensation in Tennessee
Your Tennessee unemployment claim is a series of filings that begin with an initial claim. Your initial claim is a process through which you submit your information to the state so it can determine whether you qualify for unemployment compensations. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development oversees Tennessee's unemployment program. It allows you to file your claim by Internet or telephone services.
