How to Edit in Beeps on My Video
On occasion you might want to add additional audio files and sound effects to a video. These sounds can be anything, from a laugh track to a beep to censor out a profanity. Your computer probably already has a video editor installed that is capable of inserting a simple beep at any point in the video you'd like.

1
Open Windows Movie Maker from the "Start" menu.
-
2
Click "File," "Import," then choose the video file and the audio "beep" file you want to add together. Click "OK" and the two files load as thumbnails onto the side of your screen. If you don't have a beep sound effect on your computer you can download one from one of the links provided in "Resources."

3
Click-and-drag the video file down to the timeline. The file now takes up the entire timeline with an audio track timeline directly below it.
-
4
Press the space bar or click "Play" to begin playing the video file. Press the space ebar again or click "Stop" to stop the playback once you locate the area you want to place the "beep" file on.
-
5
Click-and-drag the audio file down to the stopped location. This places the beep file in the desired spot on the video. Repeat the same process with all other areas you want to save the file to. Click "File," "Export," then title the file and click "OK." The video file with the beeps are now exported back onto the computer.
