How to Make Trash Can Punch Without Vodka
Trash can punch is a potent, fruity, alcoholic punch that gets its name from its unusual vessel. The punch is traditionally prepared in a trashcan, but you can use a large punch bowl instead. Trash can punch relies on highly alcoholic pure grain alcohol (sometimes known as neutral grain spirit) for its boozy kick, so vodka isn't necessary to make the drink. Instead, use rum for added flavor, since pure grain alcohol has no color or flavor of its own. Make this punch on-site a few hours before your guests arrive. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
If you wish, you can add a large block of ice to the trash can to chill the punch. Adding one large block instead of small cubes ensures that the punch won't become too diluted by melting ice.
