How to Activate Cookies on My Computer
Internet cookies are files created by the websites you visit. These files retain information on your browsing activity. Some of the information kept are profile details and website preferences. Websites which attach cookies to your computer enable them to monitor your navigation moves while you are visiting the site. There are two types of cookie files. First-party cookies are set in place by domains listed in the address bar when you visit a website. Third-party cookies are set by sources other than the website you are visiting. These come from other sources embedded on the page, such as advertisements or images. Since cookies are added without informing you of the process, it is important that you remain aware of your cookie settings and of what you choose to allow. Each Internet browser allows you to manage the cookies on your computer.
