How to Make Your Photobucket Albums Private

You can change your settings on your Photobucket account to protect your privacy and the privacy of everyone in your photographs. You can change your settings with a few clicks of your computer mouse. Changing your settings means no other Photobucket user can view your photographs unless you share them via email or on social networking sites.

Instructions

      Sign into Photobucket. If you don't have an account, go to Photobucket and click "Sign Up" in the upper right-hand corner. Follow the directions to create your Photobucket account.

      Click the drop-down arrow located next to your username to access the drop-down menu. Choose "Account Settings" from the menu.

      Select "Privacy Settings." Review the boxes. Deselect the boxes you want by clicking on them with your mouse so the check mark goes away. Make sure you deselect the box that allows others to copy your photographs. Click "Save" at the bottom to save your changes.

      Click "My Albums" to view the photo albums you have on Photobucket.

      Click the "Album Options" drop-down arrow to access the drop-down menu associated with your albums. Click on "Edit" next to the "Privacy" option. Click on the circle next to "Private" and then click "Save" to make your albums private.
