How to Capture a Screen Shot on Your iPhone

The iPhone includes a built-in screen shot application that you can use within any application to capture an image of your iPhone screen. This feature is useful if you wish to share iPhone tips, report bugs to app developers or if you just want to show off your iPhone setup. Though consumers don't always realize it, the screen shot functionality is baked into the iPhone operating system and the application can be used without installing additional software or adjusting your iPhone settings. Screen shots you capture save on your photo roll as .jpeg images, which you can then transfer to your computer through iTunes.

Instructions

1. Open the app, iPhone setting or website you wish to capture using the screen shot function.

2. Press the "Home" and "Sleep" button simultaneously to snap your screen shot.

3. View the screen shot by tapping the "Photos" icon on your iPhone home screen and then tapping "Photo Roll."
