How to Crochet a Back Scrubber
Of all the different types of needlework, crochet is an excellent choice to use to make a back scrubber because, by their very construction, crochet stitches are highly textured. Use a yarn that is 100 percent unmercerized cotton or that has a high cotton content for a back scrubber with a softer feel, or choose a thick nylon yarn (often used in rug making) to crochet a more abrasive, pumice-like scrubber. Gauge is not important for this project, as long as you crochet the scrubber so it is long enough to grab with both hands.
