- Towel
- Leather cleaner
- Leather conditioner
- Dust cover or clean pillowcase

Place your towel on a flat surface to protect your work area from damage. The towel also protects your purse from color transfer from your table, if the purse is a light color.

Clean the purse with leather cleaner. Follow the instructions on the container. Ensure that the purse is clean and dry before moving on to the next step.

Test the purse by using it with your belongings in it. If the purse still squeaks, repeat the process. Conditioning the purse gets rid of squeaks and noises.
