Directions to Use the Aroma Steam Chef
Be your own chef with an Aroma rice cooker and food steamer. This one appliance can cook rice while steaming vegetables, meats or fish. The cooker will automatically turn itself off and hold food warm until you are ready to serve. Sometimes it can be difficult to time all the elements of a meal so that everything is ready at the same time. By using one appliance, all that hassle is eliminated. Place 2 1/2 cups of water into the bottom portion of the cooker. This water is for both the rice and for steaming the chicken.

Pour 1 cup of white rice into the water. Place the steamer tray onto the top of the cooker.

Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place the chicken on the steam tray.

Put the lid on the cooker. Plug the cooker in and press the power switch. When the cook light turns off, the food is ready.

Tips & Warnings
Refer to the instruction manual for cooking times if you only want to steam food and not cook rice.
Vegeatables can also be cooked at the same time rice is cooking.
The cooker stays in warming mode until it is unplugged. Be sure to unplug cooker to turn it completely off.
