How to Burn MP4s Onto a DVD on Mac

Burn your MP4 files to a DVD to create a backup of your video files or transfer them to another computer. Use the built-in disc burner in your Mac to copy your digital videos to a DVD. While the Mac OS X burner is not as fancy as third-party burning software, it can quickly burn a range of file formats to a DVD.

• Blank DVD

Instructions

1. Insert a blank DVD into the optical disc drive on your Mac. The disc appears as a blank disc icon on your desktop.

2. Double-click the disc icon to open a folder associated with the DVD.

3. Click the "Finder" icon and navigate to the MP4 files. Click on an MP4 file, and drag it into the DVD folder. Hold down the "Command" button to select multiple files at once.

4. Click the "File" button on the menu bar, and click the "Burn Disc" option to copy the files to the DVD.
