Orkut is a social networking website affiliated with Google. It allows you to make friends online or through your mobile phone. If you want to use Orkut Mobile, you need to have a Google account. This means that you will register with Gmail before registering with Orkut. This social networking website is free for anyone to use. However, you will have to follow some age restrictions and rules before signing up.

Access your phone's main menu. Launch your mobile browser. Enter "m.orkut.com" in the URL field.

Click the "Join Now" button. Create a Google user name and password.

Sign in with your Google user name and password. You will receive a confirmation email that you registered with Google and Orkut.

Read the terms of service agreement. Click "I Accept the Terms of Service" to accept the agreement. This explains that you need to be 18 years or older to use the account.

Create your profile. Enter your name, date of birth, gender, relationship status and interests. You may also upload a photo from your phone.

Click "Edit" to edit your profile. Once you create your profile, you may make changes to it at anytime.

Browse for users. Search by interest, location or gender. Click "Add" to add that person to your friend's list.
