How to Drain Your Oil Without Removing the Plug
The engine-oil drain valve is the easiest way to drain your oil without removing the oil plug every time you change the oil. With an engine-oil drain valve, you can give a lever a quarter turn and oil will drain through a brass ball valve. The ball-valve design gives the oil a straight flow and creates a tight seal when closed, so oil leaks are prevented. This valve will end stripped threads and frozen drain plugs for good. The N-type drain valve comes with a nipple adapter to connect a hose for neat and easy draining.

Insert the drain valve with the gasket, and tighten. Use the wrench to tighten until the valve hits the oil-pan wall, but do not overtighten.

Tips & Warnings
If the drain valve does not touch the oil-pan wall, you may need to buy an adapter to make the drain valve fit properly.
Be very cautious not to overtighten; the drain valve could become damaged.
