How to Set a Level for Mining on a "RuneScape" Server
"RuneScape" is a free online fantasy role-playing game played on a browser. Mining is one of many "RuneScape" skills that requires a large investment in time when training up levels. One useful tool "RuneScape" added to make training these skills easier is a target level indicator. When set, a bar will appear that shows how far you are to your next level in that given skill. This is helpful when you are tracking your progress and breaking up the training into manageable pieces.

Navigate to the RuneScape site (see Resources). Click the yellow "Play Now" box and enter your user name and password. Click the "Enter" button to log into the game.

Go to the "Stats" menu and right-click on the mining skill.

Select "Set Level Target."

Type in the level that is your goal. The level you select must be higher than your current level and no more than 99.

Press the "Enter" key to save.
