How to Delete Picture Folders in a Desktop Background

Windows 7 uses themes so that you can personalize the way your computer looks. With a theme, you can set your desktop background to display a slide show of the pictures on your computer. The slide show can use pictures from one or several folders on your computer. It your desktop background currently uses pictures from a folder that you do not want it to use, you can change this at any time.

Instructions

1. Right-click on your Windows 7 desktop, and select "Personalize."

2. Click "Desktop Background" near the bottom of the "Personalization" window.

3. Click on the folder name you do not want to use in the list that appears on the screen, then click the "Clear All" button.

4. Click "Save Changes."
