How to Tweet a Copy of an Email

Having the ability to copy an email message and tweet it to your family and friends without retyping the message will save you valuable time.

Launch your email client and Twitter account; then arrange the windows side by side.

Double-click the email message you want to copy to Twitter.

Click the right mouse button and choose "Copy."

Navigate to your Twitter page and locate the "Home" tab.

Click inside the "What's happening?" text box.

Right-click the mouse and choose "Paste."

Look at the character count located on the lower-right side of the "What's Happening?" box. Twitter restricts the amount of characters allowed in your tweet to 140. Edit your message to ensure it meets that guideline.

Select the "Tweet" button.

Tips & Warnings
If your email message is lengthy, it will need to be edited and shortened to 140 characters before posting to your Twitter profile.
Having both the email message and your Twitter account open at the same time will make the transition from email to Twitter simpler.
