If you have a wireless phone, you likely will want to keep track of your minutes usage, to ensure you don't go over your monthly limit and incur extra fees. As an AT&T customer, it is easy to check how many minutes you have left.
Checking Your Minutes on Your Wireless Phone
Press the "" key on your cell phone's keypad, then press "646." Finally, press the "#" key. You should have "646#" showing on your display (for Spanish, "*876#").
Press the "Send" key on your device.
Wait for a beep to sound on your cell phone. This signifies that you have received a text message telling you how many minutes you have left for the month.
Checking Your Minutes Online
Go to AT&T Wireless' website. Log into your "myWireless" account.
Look at the "Account Overview" screen. Check where it says "My Usage Summary" for individual plans or "Group Usage Summary" if you have a family plan.
Choose the "New Voice Details" option. An account of your minutes appears for your current monthly usage.
Tips & Warnings
- Note that your minutes are always rounded off to the nearest minute. For example, if your cell phone's "Last Call" counter reads "04:15," it counts as a five-minute call.
