If you have a wireless phone, you likely will want to keep track of your minutes usage, to ensure you don't go over your monthly limit and incur extra fees. As an AT&T customer, it is easy to check how many minutes you have left.

Checking Your Minutes on Your Wireless Phone

  • Press the "" key on your cell phone's keypad, then press "646." Finally, press the "#" key. You should have "646#" showing on your display (for Spanish, "*876#").

  • Press the "Send" key on your device.

  • Wait for a beep to sound on your cell phone. This signifies that you have received a text message telling you how many minutes you have left for the month.

Checking Your Minutes Online

  • Go to AT&T Wireless' website. Log into your "myWireless" account.

  • Look at the "Account Overview" screen. Check where it says "My Usage Summary" for individual plans or "Group Usage Summary" if you have a family plan.

  • Choose the "New Voice Details" option. An account of your minutes appears for your current monthly usage.

Tips & Warnings

  • Note that your minutes are always rounded off to the nearest minute. For example, if your cell phone's "Last Call" counter reads "04:15," it counts as a five-minute call.
