How to Create an iFrame in Website Tonight

Website Tonight is the hands-on web designer helper for sites hosted on Go Daddy. It makes web design simpler by presenting things in a visual format, automating actions like adding pictures or music. Generally, this avoids the user having to mess around with HTML coding. However, to create an iFrame tag in Website Tonight, you need the HTML coding. Ironically, this requires a bit more work than it would with a less "user-friendly" interface.

  • Copy the iFrame code you wish to add. If the code is from YouTube -- which just recently switched iFrame--you do this by clicking "Share" and then "Embed."

  • Open your Website Tonight project.

  • Click "Design Your Pages" and select the page to which you wish to add the iFrame.

  • Click the HTML view icon. It looks like this: <>.

  • Paste the iFrame code where you want it to go on the page. Because you are in HTML, the iFrame code will be converted to the embed when the page displays.

  • Save the page.
