How to Disable Call Forwarding on an iPhone

The call forwarding feature on the iPhone may be disabled at anytime from within your phone's settings. You do not need to contact your mobile carrier's customer service to disable the feature. Call forwarding automatically transfers incoming calls to a number specified by you. Disabling call forwarding on your iPhone prevents calls from forwarding to the number you specified immediately.

  • Press the "Home" button on the iPhone, and tap "Settings."

  • Tap "Phone," and then tap "Call Forwarding."

  • Tap the "Call Forwarding" field to disable the call forwarding feature. The field should now say "Off."

  • Press the "Home" button to exit to the phone's home screen.
