How to Share Zimbra With Google

If you use both Zimbra email with organization service and also a Google account, then you may want to share content between the two. The Zimbra calendar can be synced with the Google calendar, so that all events and appointments are shared between them. This is essential if you use both to organize your schedule, and do not want to lose track of appointments that you have made.

  • Log in to your Google Calendar. Click the "My Calendars" drop-down menu. Click "Share this calendar."

  • Click "Calendar Details," and then "ICAL." Right-click the link and click "Copy Link Location."

  • Log in to Zimbra. Open the "Calendar." Right-click "Calendars" and click "Create New Calendar."

  • Click "Synchronize appointments from a remote calendar." Paste your ICAL link into the box and enter a name. This calendar is now shared between the two.
