How to Select All Mail on an iPhone

With its touchscreen interface, Apple's iPhone allows for intuitive navigation of the features the smartphone offers that aren't found on most cellphones. These features include Internet access, multimedia file managements and almost countless mobile applications. The iPhone also simplifies the process of accessing and managing email via mobile interface. Keep your inbox current by selecting and deleting or moving all your email with only a few taps on your iPhone's screen.

  • Tap the "Mail" icon and open the account containing the emails that you want to delete. Tap "Inbox."

  • Scroll to the bottom of your list of messages and tap the "Edit button." Tap the blank circle next to each email message to select it for moving or deletion.

  • Move your messages to another folder or delete them from your iPhone. Tap the "Move" button at the bottom of the screen, then select a location where you want your messages moved. Or, tap "Delete" to permanently remove them from your iPhone.
