How to Send a Funny Motion Text Message

Motion images are typically stored as GIFs, which stands for graphical interchange format. The Internet offers a wide collection of funny GIF images. You can easily add these images to your cell phone picture gallery and forward them to your friends and peers on special occasions, such as birthdays, sports events and others.

  • Launch your Internet browser and visit a website that offers funny GIF images for download. Some of these websites include Gif Bin, Mikes Free Gifs and My Funny World; find links in the Resources section of this article.

  • Use your mouse to highlight the images that you find interesting. Right-click after selecting these images and select the "Save Image As..." option to save these images on your PC. Specify a folder on your PC where the images are to be stored or simply select "Desktop" from the options.

  • Transfer the funny motion images from your PC to cell phone. Connect your phone to the computer via USB data cable or Bluetooth.

If you choose the former method, you will need a USB data cable to connect the two devices. Typically, the narrower end of the USB cable is inserted into the cell phone whereas the broader end is plugged into a USB port on the computer. When the connection is established, your phone's memory folders will be displayed in "Computer," which is accessible from the "Start" menu. Simply drag and drop the funny GIFs into the "Image" or "Picture" folder within the phone memory.

If you wish to transfer data via Bluetooth, you must ensure that Bluetooth is available and powered on for both the devices. Then, select the images to be transferred, right-click, and select "Send to" > "Bluetooth device." Your computer will look for Bluetooth enabled devices in the vicinity and will turn up your phone in the search results. To connect the two devices via Bluetooth, you will be prompted to enter a similar passcode on both the PC and the cell phone, after which the selected files will start transferring.

  • Send a funny motion text message from your phone to a friend. Press "Menu" or "Home" key on your phone. Select "Messaging."

  • Select "Message" to compose a text message. Other options include email and audio message.

  • Enter the cell phone number of your friend in the "To" field. Add any text to your message using the text field. Press the "Options" key and select the option "Insert content." Specify "Insert image" as the content to be added and choose the funny motion image from your cell phone's "Image" or "Picture" gallery. Press "Send" option to deliver your message.
