If you have a similar device on the network with the same IP address, you can easily change the IP address of the Canon MX700 in just a few minutes.

  • Connect your printer to the USB port of your computer.

  • Click on the "Start" menu and select the "Control Panel" option. Click on the "Printers and fax" menu and right-click on your "Canon MX700" printer.

  • Select the "Ports" tab and choose the "Add Port" menu option.

  • Name the port "Canon BJNP Port" in the text box and click on the "New Port" button. When the New Port window opens enter the IP address that you want to assigned to the printer and select "Next." You have now changed your printer's IP address.
