How to See the Free Space on My IPad

We’ve all been there: You’re just about to record an important video or download a cool new app when, uh-oh, no such luck. Your device is full. Keeping tabs on the amount of free space on your iPad means you're less likely to run out of room unexpectedly. On iPads running iOS 7, you can view the amount of storage available for use in the Usage section of the Settings app. You can also find this information in iTunes.
