How to Change a Mobile Number on Twitter

Twitter allows you to connect with your Twitter followers and get notifications on a cell phone. You simply need to link your phone to your Twitter account in order to log on to Twitter, synchronize the information and receive Twitter messages. If you recently updated your mobile number or just want to remove your phone number from your account, you can change the settings either through the Twitter Web page or by using SMS with your phone.

Log in to your Twitter account and click the Profile and settings icon, which is located in the top right corner.

Check the current phone number that is linked to your Twitter account and click Delete my phone to remove the number.

Confirm that your phone number has been deleted. Choose your country region and type the new phone number that is going to be linked to your Twitter account in the Phone number box. Click Continue to confirm the settings.

Check the verification code Twitter sends to your phone number. Type the verification code in the Verification code box and click Activate phone to make the new change take effect.
