How to Remove People From Photoshop Elements

Photoshop Elements lets you edit your photos in hundreds of ways. You may, for example, remove people from your photos. You do this by selecting the people and then deleting them. This way you can get rid of anyone you don't want in the picture. Note that after you do so, though, you may want to put something else in its place. Otherwise you will just have a blank space in your photo.

  • Open the photo in Photoshop Elements.

  • Click the "lasso" tool from your toolbar.

  • Click at one point at the edge of the person you wish to remove and hold the mouse button down.

  • Drag the mouse so that it outlines the person you wish to remove. Hold the mouse button down until you reach the beginning again, then let go. This will form a closed loop around the person.

  • Hit "Delete."
