How to Access Hosted Files on GoDaddy
GoDaddy is a domain and website host provider that allows you to register your domain and host your website on the GoDaddy server. When you sign up for an account with GoDaddy, the host provides you with FTP information including your host name, username and password. You can access your hosted files by using an FTP client program and connected to the GoDaddy host with your account information.

Download and install an FTP client such as WS-FTP, SmartFTP or FileZilla.

Launch the FTP client and configure the program to connect to your GoDaddy account. You will need to type in your site's host name, your account username and your account password.

Connect to the GoDaddy server using the FTP client. You will see two panes in the client program. One side will display files on your computer while the other side will display the files hosted on y our GoDaddy account.

Double-click the folders on the side displaying your GoDaddy account to navigate through the files on your host. You can also transfer files from your computer to the host or from the host to a folder on your computer using the FTP client.
