How to Draw Eyes in MS Paint

If eyes are the windows to your world, then drawing eyes with Windows may create the ultimate cycle. With every Windows operating system comes the Microsoft Paint graphics program. Use Paint to draw eyes for a school project, website or just to doodle your own set of peepers. While Paint's limited capacity makes for more cartoon-like eyes than anything realistic, with a few clicks through Paint's tools, you'll be seeing clearly.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Paint. Click the oval icon in the "Shapes" section of the ribbon/toolbar. Click the "Size" button and select the top/thinnest line size.

    • 2

Position the cursor on the left side of the workspace, click and draw an oval that takes up about half the canvas size.

    • 3

Select a colored square from the "Colors" section of the ribbon to serve as the eye's iris color. Draw a smaller circle inside the first.

    • 4

Click the "Fill with color" tool, the icon of the paint bucket in the "Tools" section. Click inside the circle to fill it with color.

    • 5

Click the black color in the "Colors" section. Select the oval shape again and draw a smaller oval inside the colored one, to serve as the pupil. Repeat the "Fill with color" process to fill in the pupil with black.

    • 6

Click the "Select" button on the ribbon. Choose "Rectangular selection" from its menu. Draw a rectangle around the eye.

    • 7

Press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys to copy the eye. Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys to paste a copy of the eye. Drag the new eye copy to the right, even with the first.

    • 8

Click the Paint button. Click "Save As," type a name for the eye design and click the "Save" button.
