How to Make a Slideshow in WordPress

You can add a slideshow to any WordPress page or post.

If you have a website hosted on WordPress.com, you can easily create a slideshow, or a set of photographs or images that display in a clickable, sequential order, by attaching those photos or images to either a particular post or to a specific page. Any photos or images that you attach in this way will automatically be included in a slideshow, so do not attach any photos you want to exclude from the slideshow.

Instructions

1. Sign into your WordPress website administration panel.

2. Open the post or page to which you'd like to add a slideshow.

3. Click "Add An Image."

4. Select the images or photographs to include by navigating to their location on your hard drive, desktop, or removable flash drive.

5. Click "Save All Changes" to go to the Gallery tab.

6. Click "Insert Slideshow" in the Gallery tab, and click "Update."

Tips & Warnings

• You can add a slideshow to an existing post or page. Create the post or page, if necessary, before inserting the slideshow.
