How to Log in a Zum on Webkinz

Webkinz World added a new feature in October 2009 -- the Zumbuddy. Zumbuddies are plush pets just like the original Webkinz pets that come with an online code. The code unlocks a virtual pet of the same species in Webkinz World. Zumbuddies are referred to as Zums in Webkinz World and can be attached to a pet you already own so that the two can play together. To begin using your Zum, you will need to log in the code.

Things You'll Need

• Plush Zumbuddy
• Webkinz account

Instructions

1. Go to Webkinz homepage and log in with your user name and password.

2. Click on the "Things to Do" tab, and choose "Code Shop" from the pop-up menu.

3. Enter the code that came with your Zum in the provided box, and click "Unlock."

4. Go back to the "Things to Do" tab, but this time click on "Map of Kinzville."

5. Choose the "Magical Forest" in the top left-hand corner of the map. This is where you will find your new Zum.
