How to Find a Parapsychologist
Parapsychology is the study of paranormal activity, psychic abilities, ghosts, apparitions and other observable phenomena not explained by traditional scientific beliefs. Parapsychologists generally conduct their investigations using empirical scientific research methodology along with the qualitative methods used by psychologists. Parapsychology is also sometimes called psychical research. The first organization to start investigating paranormal phenomena in a systematic way was the Society for Psychical Research, founded in 1882. Today parapsychology is practiced in a number of privately funded research centers, at some universities in the United States and the United Kingdom, and by numerous private individuals.

Tips & Warnings
If your interest relates to reincarnation or your own particular past lives, there are many books that can get you started. Do your own research first so that you can get more out of a professional's help once you do find one.
Be cautious when consulting mediums or anyone else who claims to be able to speak to the dead. These practices have been known to be occasionally fraudulent or dangerous.
