How to View HTML Framesets
Framesets are used to display separate Web pages in one screen. Its HTML code includes each Web page's frame size, scrolling options, links and target frame. Each frame is a separate HTML page with its own scrollbar and contents. Pages can appear above or below other frames and/or side-by-side. You can view the HTML code for framesets and their individual frames in a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. The source code can be saved, analyzed and modified.

Right-click the frame you want to view in Internet Explorer. Select "View Frame Source" from the pop-up menu. The frame's HTML is displayed. To view the frameset's code, select the "View" menu and click "Source" in the Web browser.

Go to the frame you want to view in Firefox and right-click. Choose "This Frame" and "View Frame Source" from the pop-up. If you have trouble finding these options, select all or part of the frame's contents and then right-click. The frame's HTML is displayed. To view the frameset's code, right-click in the Web browser and select "View Page Source."

Right-click the frame containing the source you want to view in Opera. Select "Frame" and "Source" from the fly-out menu. The frame's HTML appears. To view the frameset's HTML, right-click in the browser and select "Source."
