How to Improve My Relationship With God
As a Christian who has been saved by grace alone through faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection, it's important that you now grow spiritually in your daily walk with Christ. Every Christian has the Holy Spirit living inside of him; the Holy Spirit helps Christians understand the meaning of scripture so they can obey God's commands and be a testimony of His love and righteousness to those around them.

1
Pray daily. When praying, thank God for His eternal salvation that you have because of Christ's sacrifice and resurrection, as well as the material blessings and relationships in your life. In addition, ask God to give you wisdom regarding the direction of your life and how to handle current dilemmas you're struggling with. Finally, confess and repent of any sins you've committed.

2
Study the Bible regularly. Before reading the Bible, ask God to give you proper understanding of the passages you read and show you areas of your life where you're disobeying the Scriptures. If you want to study a certain topic, write the topic on an index card and look up every Bible passage that pertains to it.

Build good friendships with fellow Christians. Attend church services and join an organization within the church to serve and enjoy fellowship with others. For example, if you have an interest in working with children, sign up as a Sunday school teacher or as a daycare volunteer with the church. Also get phone numbers of fellow church volunteers.
