Nail polishes come in a variety of shades, all of which adhere to the finger and toenails for at least three to four days. The same chemicals that cause nail polish to adhere to your nails will also make it stick to other surfaces, including cement and concrete. Removing nail polish from cement involves speed and the right tools, which are available at the local hardware store or from your garage.
Step 1
Wipe up any pooled nail polish off the cement with a paper towel. If the nail polish has already dried, scrape off as much as you can by rubbing the stain with steel wool.

Wet the corner of a garage rag with denatured alcohol. Wear rubber gloves when working with denatured alcohol.
Step 3
Rub at the stain with the rag until the polish is removed.
Step 4
Rinse off the denatured alcohol with water.
