PowerPoint: How to Check for Updates

PowerPoint is the slideshow presentation program included in the Microsoft Office software suite. Microsoft offers free software updates, including PowerPoint updates, to help fix issues and performance with computer software. Usually, PowerPoint updates are included in regular Microsoft updates. However, you can also check for updates for the PowerPoint program individually.

Instructions

1. Launch the PowerPoint program on your computer.

2. Click "File" from the program toolbar to see the Microsoft Office Backstage view.

3. Click the "Help" menu, then click "Options."

4. Click "Check for Product Updates" to launch the Microsoft Update page.

5. Click "Start Now" to allow PowerPoint to check for the newest program updates.
