Innovage Home Cordless Steam Iron Directions

The Innovage Home Cordless Steam Iron has a rechargeable base that allows users to charge the iron and iron clothes without being hampered by a long cord. The unit also has an adjustable temperature knob, nonstick sole plate, indicator light, automatic shut-off, direct mist and steam button. The unit is sold online and in many home retail stores, and it comes with a limited warranty. While operating the steam iron is pretty simple, using the appliance should only be done by adults, due to the use of heat, electricity and steam.

Instructions

1. Connect the power cord on the base to a working power outlet and set the iron on the base to charge for several hours.

2. Lift the iron off the base when fully charged. Lift open the lid and pour clean water into the water tank until full.

3. Turn the iron to "On" and select the desired ironing temperature. Press the "Set" pad to increase the temperature. Note that "High" is best for sturdy fabrics and wool, "Medium" is best for cotton and linen, and "Low" is best for delicate items. Place the iron in an upright position and allow a few minutes for the iron to warm to the desired temperature.

4. Hold the iron horizontally over the item to be ironed and move in a smooth back and forth direction to remove wrinkles. Push the "Steam" button for an additional burst of steam during use.

5. Return the iron to the charging base if the indicator light begins to blink or turns red.

6. Empty the water tank after use and set the iron and the base in a cool, dry location to store.
