How to Make iTunes Files Into Audiobooks
Apple's iTunes media management software and portable media players handle audiobooks differently from standard music files. Audiobooks will appear in a separate section of your iPod or iTunes and will not play when you are playing through your audio library in shuffle mode. Audiobooks also resume playing from wherever you last left off. Files that you download from the audiobooks section of iTunes or Audible.com will automatically appear as audiobooks. You need to change the settings for other imported audio files to make iTunes and your iPod recognize them as audiobooks.
