How to Use the Norvell M1000 Spray Tan
Norvell manufactures a line of sunless tanning equipment, including the M1000 spray gun. These guns, similar to airbrush guns, spray a fine mist of sunless tanning solution over a customer to create a natural-looking, golden hue. Typically, sunless tanning services are found at salons and provide better results than the sunless tanning creams found at drugstores, which are notorious for leaving people with orange skin. The Norvell gun is designed for salon use and should be operated only by trained personnel. Does this Spark an idea?

Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet. Grasp the air hose and slide the male end of the hose into the female connector of the tanning machine. Push the ring next to the connector forward.

Remove the plastic cup of the spray gun by unscrewing it. Pour sunless tanning solution into the plastic cup so that it is between half and 3/4 full. Screw the cup onto the spray gun so that it is tight but not overly tight.

Turn the air cap ring counterclockwise and position the cap to the correct position. There are three cap patterns. The first has the cap to the bottom-left of the opening with the opening in a vertical position. It is for spraying from side to side. The second, for spraying top to bottom, has the cap just under the vertical opening, to the left of it. The third pattern, for creating spots, has the cap and opening orthogonally adjacent.
