How to Make Corsages with Peacock Feathers
Finding wedding accessories to match an out-of-the-ordinary color scheme can pose a problem. This is particularly true if your wedding theme contains jewel tones. One solution is to make your own wedding accessories using custom color selections. For a wedding with a peacock color scheme, make accessories such as corsages that feature peacock feathers.

1
Cut the stem of two or three fresh, colorful flowers to measure 3 to 4 inches long, using shears.
-
2
Cut the tips off four to five peacock feathers so that they measure 3 to 4 inches long.
-
-
3
Gather the flowers into a small bunch. Gather the feathers around the outside of the flowers in a decorative manner.
-
4
Wrap the stems of the flowers and shafts of the feathers together using florist tape. Stop wrapping when you reach the base of the flowers and feathers. Cut off the excess tape with scissors.
-
5
Cut a piece of elastic 5 inches long using scissors.
-
6
Squeeze a dime-sized dollop of hot glue onto the wrapped stems of the peacock corsage. Press the ends of the elastic into the hot glue, holding them in place for two minutes. This will form the elastic into a loop that you can slide onto your wrist.
