How to Move Hero to a New Kingdom in "The Sims Medieval"

Save

In "The Sims Medieval," focus in the game is on creating kingdoms to satisfy various ambitions.

Once you've used up all your quest points in the game, it is tempting to move on to one of the newly unlocked ambitions. But if you stay and play one more quest, you can transfer your Sim into a new kingdom and give it a nice boost to help ensure you complete your goals.

  • Select "Brave New World" quest and decide which one of your heroes you want to transfer. Your focus should be on what level the hero is and what traits he has. Everything else --- spouse, friends, belongings, money --- will not be transfered to the new kingdom, so it doesn't matter. Married Sims are single once they have moved kingdoms.

  • Go to the Village Shoppe and purchase a "Castle-in-a-Box." It costs $700.

  • Recruit four builders and four ship crew members. Your Sim needs to be friends with someone before he can choose this socialization. Since these people do not actually go to the new kingdom, it doesn't matter who is chosen.

  • Go to the ship at the docks and select "Find a new land." Your Sim will go on a little cruise and should return to let you know he has found a place.

  • Select "Establish new kingdom" by clicking on the ship. An ending screen will be displayed, and you will be taken back to the main kingdom screen.

  • Start a new kingdom. When you are asked to select a monarch, your hero should appear as a fourth option. (Your other options are the two random Sims or "Create-a-Sim.")

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't use your hero for this kingdom, he will appear again when you create a new kingdom. Your hero can only be king. He will not be an option for another occupation, even his previous one.
