How to Put Games in Windows Media Center

While the Windows Media Center was mainly designed to watch videos and listen to music, it also allows you to run any installed games directly from the Windows Media Center user interface. However, you must first add any installed games to the Window Media Center extras library before you can run them.

  • Install any game on to your computer.

  • Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Windows Media Center."

  • Scroll to the option labeled "Extras." Next, click "Extras Library."

  • Click "Manage Extras" and then click "Extras Library."

  • Check the box next to the game that you installed and click "Save" to put the game in Windows Media Center.
