How to Use Seafoam on a 300Zx

Save

Sea Foam motor treatment is used to liquefy fuel deposits and remove internal engine contamination. It also removes carbon deposits, can help free stick lifters, reduce pinging, eliminate throttle hesitation and improve the quality of the idle. When Sea Foam is used as a fuel additive, the product stabilizes fuel for up to two years. In addition, it can clean injectors, remove fuel deposits from the fuel line and lubricate the upper cylinders of the 300ZX.

  • Instruct an assistant to start the engine. Wait 15 seconds, then instruct the assistant to press the gas pedal to raise the engine speed 500 to 1,000 RPM higher than idle. Instruct the assistant to hold the engine RPM steady during the injection of Sea Foam into the engine.

  • Spray 1/2 of the can of Sea Foam into the throttle. This process will take 2 to 3 minutes. Turn the engine off. Wait 10 minutes
