You can surf the Internet from your HDTV without the use of a computer by connecting your TV to an Xbox 360, then connecting your Xbox to a modem. From the Xbox 360 you can check your Facebook account, watch Netflix movies and download music. This makes your TV a media center by allowing you to go from watching TV directly to going online without having to get up from the couch.
Things You'll Need
- Xbox 360
- HDMI cable
- Ethernet cable
Plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI ports of the TV and the Xbox 360. Both sides of the HDMI cable are the same, so it doesn't matter what side goes into each device
